I will not be only writing about prayer and meditation, although they CAN help you communicate with your soul. I will be writing about spiritual self-talk and mindfulness, used in a holistic way.
We used to experience lockdowns not long ago. Now still viruses attack and from time to time, people are incapacitated by flu or even covid.
When and How Do You Lose Contact With Your Soul?
The time of staying at home is a great opportunity to learn more about yourself. Sure, you can do this job anytime in your life but now you have more time and can use the tools described below more efficiently. Just withdraw from the current whirl and look inside yourself. Then you will meet divinity in yourself.
You Are an Actor
Many people play various social roles, meeting the expectations of other beings, not only humans. They are like actors, matching the culture and the place where they are living. They double themselves.
However, it can be very tiring and it generates negativity deep inside. You often lose contact with your soul and guts, following social rules and the script of the play in which you are. You can become manipulated, brainwashed, and under mind control. Many so-called gurus, also spiritual, can lead you astray.
You may also be afraid to face your festering emotional wounds and traumas, rather than using quick-fix methods like tablets, drinking, abusing sex or playing the victim. But this is not the way to regain peace of mind, body and soul.
Spiritual Self-Talk And Its Benefits
Start talking to your soul. Discover his/her divinity. There are many benefits of practising self-talk.:
making better decisions by listening to your guts,
having a better, more fulfilled life,
being more assertive,
being more fulfilled,
better physical, mental and emotional health,
forgiving easier - yourself and other beings,
discovering a new, deeper life,
finding answers to all your questions,
being filled with love, happiness, health and abundance,
attracting people and circumstances to create your dream life,
speeding up your spiritual growth,
having better aura protection from negative energies
It is not magic but a natural consequence of your new life attitude - living according to your values, dreams, desires, and life mission. I have to warn you: The ways described in this article are only the beginning and examples which may inspire you to do deeper research.
How To Talk To Your Soul
Firstly, start by using baby steps. Use one method at a time and then choose another method which suits you the best.
1. Focus on Yourself
No, it's not egoism. You need to keep a balance between yourself and other beings. Now answer these questions:
How much time do you spend surfing the internet, not to gain information but to kill time?
How often do you watch soap operas or political debates on TV?
how much time do you spend with your so-called friends and family who want something from you nearly all the time?
You can be surprised how little time is left for yourself. yes, for yourself. To share your resources with other beings, you need to recharge your batteries and know where you are going, to follow your soul plan. And these things will not be possible while watching a soap opera or talking to a friend on Facebook.
If you do not review your pathway regularly, other people can lead you astray with their goals, ideas and expectations, not always in accordance with the values of Light.
Beware that in the 21st century there are many more distractors than ever before. It is more difficult to connect with your divinity and soul and it is only possible when you are with yourself. Therefore, be disciplined to find some spare time for spiritual growth and talking to your soul.
2. Ask Yourself Questions
Everything. Start by thinking. Then you can use automatic writing. Think about your questions before going to bed and just after waking up.
Be vigilant as answers may come from various sources - dreams, images, unexpected events in your life, some miraculously found information, books and films. Never judge and be fearful, ask questions like a 5-year-old child and set your ears for answers.

3. Start Your Personal Journal
Apart from automatic writing, you can have your dream and experience book. Write down your dreams just after waking up and your major experiences of each day.
Sometimes, at a given moment, we are unable to discover hidden meanings in the events noted down., but when they are on the peace later, you can always come back to them later and analyse the situation.
By observing dreams, you will know what the main issues your psyche bothers about now and there will be answers to your major questions in these dotes.
Also, be aware of the voice of your inner critic in your diary. Do not escape from unpleasant and limiting thoughts about yourself and other people.
Then question each of these minds, eventually putting it in the bin. Substitute every negative thought with something positive and nice, by saying wonderful things to yourself and visualising the places where you feel safe and happy. In this way, you will gradually transform your negative beliefs.
4. Charge with the Energy of Mother Earth
I know that not everyone has the opportunity to walk barefoot in their own garden or swim in the sea, plus the weather may impede your plans.
But even if you are living in a block of flats, do not miss the opportunity to walk around the green areas of the city or get some plants for your balcony. Look around and listen to birds chirping and twittering, and notice blooming trees and plants (also in your flat).
When you are in your own garden, feel the smell of the earth and remember where you come from. I do not mean a given country here but the planet Earth and even Space. At night observe the sky and celestial bodies in it. Remember that you are an infinite, eternal soul.

5. Check Your Emotions and Examine Your Internal World
Ask yourself questions during the day:
How am I feeling because of this situation?
Why am I feeling this way?
What do I need right now?
What can I do for myself right now?
It is critical to ask and answer these questions when you are uneasy, during important events and difficult meetings. If you have some time, write down the answers. If your reflections are hard and full of discomfort, ask:
What can I do right now to turn round the situation to feel better right now?
6. Take Care of Yourself
If you do not take care of your mental and physical needs, your attempts to contact each other will be of no avail. Show yourself that you care, that you can take care of yourself.
Rest, instead of doing something by force, get enough sleep, eat healthily, move, spend time with people who are close to you or inspire you, do things that you like and be sure to engage in some creative activity. In such moments, you can also hear yourself.
7. After Waking Up, Spend a Moment in Silence
It's best to buy a traditional alarm clock to keep your phone away from the bed. As soon as you wake up, you are most sensitive to the voice of your inner self. Enjoy it.
Listen to yourself in silence. Then express gratitude and send an intention for the day. You can also ask questions you want to work with during the day.
By focusing on the present moment, you are open to information from the divinity within you. This can be difficult at first, so just try to watch your thoughts and catch yourself running away from the present.
Start with looking ahead and going back into the past, through mindful breathing and a multi-sensory sense of the reality around you. The senses are a wonderful tool to anchor us in the present!
This exercise does not require many hours or even a few quarters of an hour. You can do them in the morning, in the evening or even during a break at work.
As I wrote at the beginning, it is a journey to the end of life, just as self-love is infinite. Enjoy it, find power in it, discover your treasures and live in harmony with yourself! Learn how to meditate.
