This article will address self-confidence from a holistic point of view. You will not work with your mind but with all your life forces.

What Is Self-Confidence
Self-confidence is an attitude about your skills and abilities. It means you accept and trusts yourself and have a sense of control in your life. You know your strengths and weakness well and have a positive view of yourself. - University of Florida
Moreover, you STRONGLY BELIEVE in your strength, no matter what happens. From the spiritual point of view, you are the creator of your life, able to cope with any challenge by using the power of thoughts, emotions, and the help of Higher Beings and by managing your emotions (i.e., you do not panic when a challenge arises).
Self-confidence is similar to self-esteem and self-worth. They are interdependent. However, self-confidence focuses on your strength as such, your ability to overcome any challenge, even if you feel unworthy.
What Destroys Self-Confidence
Before I give you some tools for boosting your self-confidence, know the roots of this challenge:
1. Conditioning by Religion, Culture and Science
As children, we are vulnerable and malleable to any kind of programs instilled by parents, teachers, religious gurus and social engineering. Of course, parents and teachers were also brainwashed in the past.
Here are a couple of beliefs killing self-confidence:
"children and fish have no voice" (in the family)
"we are sinners, depending on God's mercy, unable to create our fate" (religious belief)
"authority, police, banks... have power over us"
"you cannot survive without me, my help, our community" (blackmail used in relationships).
"you cannot control your mind"
"you cannot reverse ageing"
Moreover, children often hear at home and in the family:
'You won't achieve anything.'
'There was no rich person in our family so you will not be either
It won't work.'
Moreover, we are conditioned by the knowledge absorbed at school (literature, things you learn) or media (TV and the Internet in particular but also glossy magazines, angled at a specific group of readers). So-called "experts", paid by lobbyist groups and corporations give you advice on how to solve problems.
2. Social Engineering
The media mentioned above, plus other people influenced by it, contain commercials and advertisements. Social engineering techniques and brainwashing create a kind of lifestyle where you are dependent on some products or services, not the power of your body, mind and soul.
Even if you know that the truth differs from yourself, being in the minority does not make your life easier. You need enormous strength to resist social pressure and manipulation present everywhere.
3. Not Taking Responsibility for Your Life
When you give control over your life to other people, institutions, and religions, do not be surprised that your self-confidence will plummet. These people and institutions "care" about you as long as you bring profit to them. Any attempt to break free is choked and punished.
Eventually, you can end up with depression, bankruptcy, or a somatic illness like cancer. In milder cases, you will be unhappy, and feel chronic, moderate discomfort, vegetating instead of living to the fullest.

How To Regain Self-Confidence - The Best Strategy
So what can you do to regain self-confidence and act as the creator of your life, not a slave or a figurehead dependent on others? I will present you the 6-step process which will help you do the thing right. My next article will contain the toolbox itself.
I am not giving you all the details today because the issue of self-confidence is too critical to just use something in the spur of the moment. You need to have a plan and be aware of all obstacles on your way.
Why? Because taking a journey around the world or reaching the pinnacle of Mont Everest requires strategy and preparation. So what do you need to know and do to boost your self-confidence?
1. Identify the Messages Putting Your Self-Confidence Down
Take a piece of paper, preferably a diary/notebook, and write down all the words you heard from people that caused you have lost self-confidence. Immediately write the name of the person who says/said it. Some examples are given at the beginning of this article. Do not judge these messages and the people yet.
Then answer the question:
Why have I believed in all these messages?
The answer may not come to you at the beginning, so ask your soul for help:
My beloved soul, I ask you to now display in my head what you want to tell me – the answer to the question: Why am I on Earth again? What values should I rework? - Aron
Be open to the clues you will get: images in your mind, words, sentences and information which will be encountered during the day. They all have cues.
If you still struggle, look for the answer at the beginning of this article, i.e., the reasons for killing self-confidence. You have been programmed and believed that you cannot cope with overcoming your challenges.
2. Realise Your Fears from Past Lives
We all have some fears and phobias which cannot be explained by our current life. Even if you had a peaceful childhood, there may be the fear of water, social anxiety (or even phobia) and so on. Why? Because you experienced a trauma in your past life/lives.
You might have been burnt at the stake, shot, betrayed, drowned or gone through massacres of the war. Even if it is past, your subconscious mind still remembers it and acts as if it may happen again.
What can you do? List all your fears and notice which are automatons, triggered unconsciously, all fears, and phobias. Then start working on these fears. Read more about working with the subconscious mind.
3. Accept and Understand Your Reality
I have written many times that acceptance and understanding your life, choices and yourself are the first, most critical conditions to solve many problems in a holistic way. What do you need to accept in particular?
We are living forever, death is only a temporary passage to the other dimension and later we start another journey in the physical form.
Other people have free will and have also chosen this place to learn their lessons
We all come here to experience and learn new lessons
Other people are here to teach us the values of light, e.g., assertiveness.
4. Learn and Apply the Universal Laws
They will help you to manifest self-confidence more quicker. Here are some examples:
the Law of Cause and Effect - what you sow you will reap
the Law of Change - nothing is constant except change
the Law of Attraction - You attract everything you emanate
the Law of Vibration - everything vibrates and your vibrations determine the quality of your life
the Law of Assumption - the thing you want already exists in your life, you'll manifest it into existence
the 4 spiritual Indian laws.
5. Design Your Life Plan and Set Achievable Goals
Write down what you want to achieve in every area of life. This is your life journey plan.

6. Look at What You Have Already Achieved
It is easy to lose self-confidence if you do not notice any achievements in your life. Take a journal and do this exercise in writing: make a list of all the things you are proud of in your life, whether it is passing your Leaving Certificate or a driving test, learning to swim, or mastering a skill.
Also, list a minimum of 30 cases when you were self-confident. Maybe you dared to do something difficult, despite fear. Perhaps you were assertive enough to stand up for yourself.
Keep this journal at hand, check regularly, preferably daily at first, and add to it all the achievements you are proud of. When your self-confidence plummets, read aloud, visualising, each achievement from this journal.
