Before I give you the ten plus one tip on how to build self-love, learn why it is so important: Loving yourself, it becomes easier for you to say n"no" to people and things that don't align with your values because you realise that your time is a valuable asset and that it is better to spend it on doing the things you love.

Loving yourself makes you more open and aware of the healing process. You know about the option of being hurt, but that does not mean the pain has to last forever. The same applies to emotions

2. Better Communication With others


Self-love is taking the time out to figure out who you are and what you want. Once you know this you are able to have honest conversations with anyone and everyone, being upfront and frank.

3. Not Seeking Approval


When you truly love yourself, you realize that confidence is within and that no one can make you feel as good or as happy as yourself. Thus you feel pressured to do things just to be liked and care less what others say or think of you.

4. More Comfort During Bad Days

1. Say "No" to All Criticism

Instead of criticising, stand in front of the mirror and say:

I AM OKAY AS I AM RIGHT NOW.

Never let negative thoughts grow and control you. Stop threatening yourself. Instead, practise self-acceptance. When a negative thought or its energy come, put them in the bin, destroy it with the Divine Light. Choose the thoughts of love, hope, optimism and happiness instead.

    I CAN COPE WITH EVERYTHING.

    Having a helping hand will increase your self-confidence and self-love. Friendly mentors will motivate you and increase your self-esteem. You will make more progress and make the most of your potential.

    7. Accept Your Failures

    Accept the negative part of your experiences, as much as you can, like the obstacles. Pay less attention to them. Remember that whatever is happening in your life, it results from your thoughts, words and deeds in the past, from this life and the previous ones. You are never wrong. Anger does not create positive changes.

    8. Humour

    Laugh as often as possible. Meet with friendly individuals, who make you feel good, who make you laugh. Watch funny comedies or other films, listen to jokes.

    9. Take Care Of Your Body

    Your body is your temple. Be careful what gets into it, food is the fuel of your body. Taking care of it is the manifestation of self-love. Here is one affirmation you can use:

    • I AM READY FOR SELF-LOVE.
